Weston is "Home of the Bicycle", but where are the bike lanes?

A long time ago in Weston, there was a Canada Cycle & Motor factory that produced bicycles. Some time after the factory closed, Weston’s Business Improvement Area decided to rename the neighbourhood itself "The Home of the Bicycle”. Today, however, not a single dedicated bike lane can be found on Weston’s streets.

The Bike Lane Turtle Derby above features an old-time Penny Farthing rider asking, "Where are the bike lanes?"

Special Thanks to the following for their help:

Videographer: Jun Nogami (Biking in the Big City)

High Wheel Rider: Darren Bedford, (Bedford Unicycles)

And all the other volunteers from Toronto Community Bikeways Coalition.
